Default Dash background light out

All my warning lights come on and off and usual when starting so no problem with them. However I can't see any of the LED displays unless I shine a light on them or there is sunlight (speedometer, charge, discharge, gasoline, etc.). No other problems that I can detect. The brightness control does nothing. Is this backlight fuse protected?

Any idea about like the mode and Econ button? They are not lighting up?

I ended up replacing the whole dash unit. It was an easy fix. Total cost was $50 and about 20 minutes.

Hmm where did you get the part? Also, do you think this is a fuse issue?

I bought at Ebay. I checked the fuse but that wasn't the problem. When I took a finer look at it with the flashlight, the gas gauge and odometer had quit working too. Like I said, the replacement was inexpensive and easy to install.

If it might be only a bulb you may want to see: http://www.insightcentral.net/forums/problems-troubleshooting/21152-climate-control-light-issue.html
