Default Which one is positive?

There is a square end and a hex end of the insight battery sticks. Which is the positive side? Thanks, Mark

It concerns me when folks are disassembling battery packs and don't seem to have basic electrical tools, like a digital multimeter?

I have one eli. Also bought the good gloves. I just don't use my DVM often enough to remember I could have used that to check polarity. I have decent mechanical skills and am ASE certified, but no way an expert. I was scared to death taking it apart. And very cautious.

Thanks, Mark
