Default problem solved

I wish to say a special thanks to Jeff652. Installing the immobilizer sensor
from Jeff fixed the problem.

I installed it this morning and drove the car 135 miles this afternoon.

Average mpg for the 135 miles was 75.2. I have driven that same route in the
Car about 100+ times, and the best previous mpg has ever been is 69.5 and
that was in the summer. My usual winter average for this trip is 62 - 64.

Too weird!

It must be the awesomeness powder I spilled on the parts when I was pulling them for you last night hahah.

So glad to hear that you are back on the road, and very interesting to hear that it was the immobilizer sensor on the ignition. That's the first I have heard of them failing on a G1 Insight.
