Clicking Sound

Does anyone else hear a clicking sound when the windshield wipers are on. Jus wondering if thats normal.

It's just the relay switch I assume - I've heard it in many other cars - not sure if I've ever noticed it in my Insight. It should only happen when on intermittent, not in continuous mode.

thx for clearing that up cause ive had an 06 tl before this car and it had intermittent wipers but id didnt make the clicking noise maybe it had something to do with the lack of noise deadening materials with the insight

I can almost guarantee that TL has better acoustic insulation than Insight. It is not unusual to hear that relay clapping, especially when the engine is off during Auto-Stop mode.

Very sensitive ears, I can even hear my Subaru making subtle noise at downshifts (A/T). It turned out to be the transmission solenoid making that noise!
