Hi, this is my first post, and I'm glad to have found these forums. I just bought my Honda Insight Ex w/Navi last weekend
On the 2nd or 3rd day, I noticed a high pitch sound ("eeeeeeeeeeee"), very high pitch, and not too loud. But I heard it amidst the radio - shut off the radio, heard it more clearly, especially when stopped at stop light.
It stops for a few seconds, then starts again. I can't tell where it's coming from, nor what might be causing it. I can' see any patterns, like when the IMA is charging or not, or assisting, etc. I thought maybe it was the first time I had the AC off and have tried turning AC on/off, fans on/off, vents open/closed, but it doesn't seem correlated to anything I do.
Any ideas?
I'll go back to Honda, but I dread these types of questions because they may not be able to hear it (it might stop while I'm there, or if they're "older" and can't hear such a high pitch sound... well, you get my drift).
