Default Check Emission System

First bummer today. I tried to start the car, it does start, but just gives two little RPM boosts (1500RPM) then stop. Then the "Check Emission System" lamp comes up... Bit annoying for a new car... I was unable to start the car. Nothing wrong happened before, same usual ride as every day.

Will need to have it towed to the dealer tomorrow morning.

Any idea what "Check Emission System" means ?

Quick follow up on the story. Got the car back late afternoon today. They couldn't find anything wrong. They acknowledged the car was stalling right away, as the technician saw it himself. They ran the diagnostic and it returned a P0351 code. They unplugged the ignition coils, put them back, checked fuses, put them back, tried to start the car and whoof, started like new. Further diagnostic was all clean. They think it has to do with the immobilizer system, but can't pin point the problem. I believe they ran the diagnostic properly, but the problem is odd...

If anybody has similar experience, please post. I'm puzzled... and curious to see if there could be any valid explanation...
