Default Best wax product for minimizing fine scratches?

So my car was assaulted by a soccer ball (it was a hard kick aimed at the car from a very short distance) The damage looked really bad, but it turned out what appeared to be a large smear of deep scratches was really rubber from the ball that was stuck to the car. The dad of one of the other soccer playing kids buffed it out, and it looked OK, but I just cleaned the car and now see that there are a ton of fine scratches all over the spot that the ball hit.

ANYWAY, I'll be waxing it sometime soon and was wondering if there is any specific brand of wax that might work best for minimizing the scratches?

I'm using Eagle One's Nano Wax (in a spray on). It seems to work real well. There is no waiting for it to haze. Just spray it on and wipe to a shine. It works on the plastics and glass too. I'll have see how it works out this winter, but I'm impressed for a spray. They make a paste version of it too.

I have used Meguire's or Mothers products for years. Remember that the job of wax is to protect not polish. There are cleaner waxes to take out the grime of our New England winters, but I still prefer to do two seperate steps. I would start with the finest polish and the softest touch to remove the scratches, then wax. If the finest still doesn't remove the scratches then go with a little more aggressive polish. Take baby steps and you shouldn't go wrong. Then find the kid who did the damage and drag him by his testicals for a few yards. Ok, J/K about the testicals, but the drag should drive home a point.

Unfortunately some "troubled" children moved into my neighborhood recently. From the reports of the other kids, he did it deliberately. My poor Insight was just minding his own business sitting in my driveway

Zaino is supposed to be the best you can buy. It's used on expensive show cars.

I use eagle one on my metro and it really shined it up.

My insight I used the nano nnt 2 wax by macquires. It was highly recommended, but did seem much from it. I notice a lot of fine scratches all over the paint and I use a touchless car wash.

Yeah, I saw the Metro. You did a great job in bringing that car from the dead. Way to go. Those are good cars. I used to own a '97 back in '97.

How come nobody is using Zaino?

I wish I could have gotten a black Insight. That looks so killer in that color.
