I have had my strips replaced 3 times now. Every time, its after the car wash, and they dang things fly off when I am on the freeway. The dealership told me this is a common occurrence on these cars, and honda is aware. But not fix. Figures....
I tried tacky glue on the connectors, but one of them still came off when I went through the carwash the other day. Maybe next I'll try a glue gun on those spots.

Does the dealer replace them for your free of charge? If not, how much does it cost you?
they have been replaced every time under warranty. There is no reason, unless your out of warranty, for them not too. Its a design flaw, and honda should take care of it.
I never take any car I care about into a car wash of any kind, touchless or otherwise. I just do the job myself by hand. Then I know it will be done right, and with no damage to the car.

I'm guessing I don't need to go to the dealer I signed the lease with then? I moved out of state so the original dealer is no longer an option.
Had that happen to me last week on my way to Pennsylvania. I stopped and clipped back in place. I will take the advice of 2 others on here and use some pliers to tighten the clip and also use a bit of weather stripping glue.

I would, but the metal clip on the rain gutter came off when going through a Costco car wash, so I need to get it replaced. I'm a bit afraid of modifying the car in any way as it probably violates my lease .
