Default Scratched in a garage

Someone either hit me in the garage or scratched the bumper with something. Is this something the paint warranty would cover by the dealer or should I just take it to a local shop and have them touch it up. thanks.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a warranty is only going to cover manufacturer defects, not incidental damage. Wouldn't hurt to ask your dealership, though, at least you'll be at the right place to pick up touch-up paint

That sucks about the scratch, though - people are so careless

Default See the body shop

Call your Honda dealer. Ask for the Body Shop. Ask for an estimate and appointment (no obligation). The body shop is often located a mile or two away from the dealer, so confirm where they are. Their estimator will give you a good idea of the pros and cons of doing it yourself. These guys are pros at hiding these things -- it might not be expensive at all.

Unhappy scratched in a garage

I hope that was your first ding because it's a little one! There is always a first ding. I got mine this morning and I did it all by myself! Backed into the concrete wall behind my parking space. Crap. Now it's off to the dealer to get that bottle of touch up paint with the little brush in the cap.

This is why I park my car as far away from idiot drivers as I can... It's really sad how nobody gives a crap if they hit your car. People open doors and just bang your car, hell I was sitting in my car (old honda) one time and this chick just slams her door against my car. I give the wtf look and she's like sorry... It's worse if you have to parallel park, you might as well kiss that back bumper away, and the problem with parallel parking? People drive WAY too big cars and try to fit in small spaces. I'd love to continue this rant but I'm sure you feel the pain of trying to keep your car looking nice.... You almost just give up and just accept it's going to get dented
