Default Dog Drool on Paint?

As I was washing our I2 yesterday I discovered several long etchings in the paint from our dog. Apparently, my wife let him hang his head out the window while driving to the dog park last Friday, and of course, he slobbered down the side of the car that was repainted 3 months ago following an accident and I haven't been able to wax yet. Anyone had this issue or have any experience getting stains like this out of the paint?

Use Poorboys world Professional Polish with a good microfiber/pad cloth. It's a cleaner without abrasives. I use it for getting off (nasty)stains, but also dead bugs, birdpoop etc. Here's the link: http://www.poorboysworld.com/professional-polish.htm

Make sure the cloth you use to rub the stain with doesn't scratch the car, otherwise you need to use a scratchremover afterwards. I never use cotton or woollen cloths anymore, as they do scratch, eventhough the manufacturer claims they don't. Of course I have a black car....which you can scratch just by looking at it too long .

If it's etched like you said (clearcoat removed), you'll have to have it resprayed. No polish or compound will put it back.

If it's not etched, any compound, or polish should bring it back.
