Default Brand New Insight--No USB Audio?

Just got our 2010 Insight EX Navi! The car is wonderful but for the life of me I can't get the USB to recognize any of my USB drives. I am using Mac OS 10.6
and I even formatted the drive as a MS-DOS (FAT) thinking that maybe it didn't like Mac OS. If I hook my iPhone up to the USB it recognizes it instantly. How can I get the USB to recognize a Flash Drive? Thanks!

I believe the size is limited to 16gb, plus you need some mp3s on there. I just copy them from my itune folder to save memory on my itouch for more downloading.

I have used the san cruz with the blinking orange LED as well as HP ones from Staples.

I just tried a 2gb Verbatim that was formatted on a Windows PC and it works.
I think that the Honda USB might not like the fact that my USB drive was formatted on a Mac. Has anyone used a Mac USB drive with their Insight?

Got it to work with Mac OSX. You have to use Disk Utility and partition the USB drive to MS-DOS Fat 32.

Default USB with Sansa 280e

Got iphone 3g with OS 4.1 to work after balking initially.
Can't get my wife's Sansa 280e to interface at all - just gets "unsupported". Anybody have experience, fixes, or not possible replies?
