iphone (3GS) and Receive contact (HFL)

Has anyone been able to use the Receive Contact feature on the HFL and an iphone?
To make a long story short - my iphone list exceeds 999 names (when I tried to import phonebook) and I'm looking for the easiest way to add 20 or so to the HFL. Using the mic and one at a time doesn't work well.

I've an iPhone 4 paired with an ES-T and the only transfer I can do is the whole iPhone contact list to the Navigation/HFTsystem.
What model of Insight do you have? is it HFT with or without navigation?
