AUX input weak on bass

Has anybody else noticed the aux input on the Insight EX (No navi) is a bit weak on bass?

I've tried several different sources including my phone and XM radio with several different miniplug cables, same result. I've got the bass cranked all the way up on the head unit and the source, no huge effect.

Its not unusable, but I have noticed that the FM radio, USB interface, and CD player all have much better sound.

Yeah, its a clarion unit. I had mines a few months before I installed a sony. Ive replaced a lot of clarion head units in my day.

I haven't noticed that, in fact, I prefer the aux over the USB. I can turn the volume much louder.
