Well, it happened once before and i payed no attention to it, but this morning the silly thing stubbornly refused to open and the que of cars behind wanting to fuel up added up to my irritation.
After 5 minutes of cursing, swearing, and calling the *$@#*^&%^#$*thing all the nasty names the so-rich Greek language embraces, it decided to open up.
It appears that the silver pin to the upper right that secures the cap was not moving freely in its path.
The question is: do i spray it with some silicon lube (the part that i can see, i have no clue how far in it goes in its socket or what servomechanism is in there) or cover it with a thin film of soap-based grase? Will i make a mess in the mechanism inside the box?
Any ideas?
