I had the dealer glue my roof strips in place since they came off in a car wash and another time just driving down the highway when it was a really windy day.

I would be curious to see the new design of the roof strips if anybody has a picture???

I've done zero warranty repairs... I'm past the 36,000 coverage and on 40,000 miles with no problems. I still have the 60,000 coverage on the motor. Cross's fingers! I see this car lasting, really it runs great! GPA 48 being a good driver

Mine did the same thing, the seal on the car not the door. Dealer replaced it no charge under warranty, they did have to order it though.

Default driver's door armrest

The driver's side door armrest developed a crack in the supporting plastic. I guess I leaned on it too hard too often. Dealer replace the door panel without a fuss.

No problems so far with the roof strips. I have been through a touchless car wash with a pretty strong dryer quite a few times. I got mine in Sept 2010 - maybe they had the new design by then.

Around 10 Honda's (beginning from the 70's) and I've never noticed that before. My 95 Odyssey eventually did try to lock itself repeatedly for a little while, though. Fortunately, only when I would try to lock it. There was a solution for it, never got bad enough for me to investigate and fix it.

I'm about to hit 33k and the I2 has been to the dealer to get some things fixed before my warranty is up.

1) The drivers door gasket mysteriously tore. Never had a car where it tore. It's like someone peeled back a part of it and left it hanging.
2) During the cold weather the gas cap didn't want to come off at a gas station. The wife, well, forced it off more or less, to put gas in the car. The cap was attached to something, I don't know exactly what you call it. Well, the cap isn't attached anymore. The dealer reattached it and said it was a bit loose afterward ... so they're ordering a new "whatever" you call it, to fix it.

That's it, and hopefully it.

Rather trivial bullcrap. Can't complain about much.

I had the 12V battery and one of headlight bulbs replaced so far. My 2010 Honda Insight has about 31,000 miles.

- Roof weather strip replaced (before the recent notice from Honda)
- Steering column replaced (that didn't fix the steering issue, see below)
- Break head bolt replaced on steering column holder (fixed creaking sound and play in the steering wheel)
- "Off" button on the A/C controls mysteriously stopped working after getting it back from the shop from the previous item listed. They are fixing it later this week or next - I'll update this post with what part they replace.

I'm glad that nothing serious or major has gone bad yet, but these past couple weeks have made me really question the fit/finish of these cars. I'm definitely not regretting having an extended warranty; whereas if you asked me a couple weeks ago, I probably would have said I could have done without it.

// Edit: The whole A/C control assembly was replaced today. Part #79600-TM8-A53ZA.
