i had a leaking shock that resulted from a large hole in the road my best guess...

anyway some can argue shocks are wear and tear items but it was replaced under warranty no questions asked. They actually found it themselves while doing a full car inspection after an oil change and found the leaking shock.

2010 Insight with 33k

Just had all 4 lock actuators and the Climate Control fan replaced.

Lock Actuators - Servos were making noise when they were engaged.

Climate Control Fan - Sounded like you were sticking a baseball card into the spokes on your bike.

Default Warranty work

March 2012 UK spec EX.

12V battery failed after a week. Dealer refused to fit new one, but they eventually swapped it for the battery in another car!

Back seat rattles and squeaks. Dealer claimed there was no fault. Have fixed it myself.

Main dealers here in the UK are not good...

My UK spec 2010 ES was just in for some warranty work yesterday.

Was getting some rasping wind noise from passenger door at 65 mph plus. Dealer adjusted trim around door. Seems to have revolved the problem.

Also had crunching / clicking noise coming from nearside under car when driving over speed humps. Dealer removed subframe bolts, cleaned and greased them. Again this seems to have solved the problem. The service manager started that its a common problem on civics but he's not seen it on an I2 before. From his description, I think this is the service bulletin for the issue on Civics http://www.civinfo.com/forum/attachm...-ema091016.pdf (note: this is a Civic specific bulletin - I don't think that there is an I2 equivalent yet).

The service manager also indicated that 3 software updates were installed relating to CVT operation, IMA battery management and fuel consumption.

27k miles (2010 model) and nothing too bad done. The list so far is:
1) 12v battery
2) roof strip (blew off!)
3) brake pads and breaks shimy (front to address clunking when going backwards)
4) drivers wing mirror not retracting properly
5) glove box damper assembly

Sounds like a lot, but my dealer is great and there was no hassle getting it all sorted.

Our just got the turn signal switch replaced. It would not stay engaged on right turns only. Of course it never did it when I drove it to the dealer to have the ordered part replaced. But they did confirm that it was doing it on a previous visit and ordered the part. Covered under our Honda Care warranty.
