Default 2011 Insight - ABS Light and Check Brakes Light on

I helped some friends install adjustable coilovers on a 2011 Insight last night, and now the ABS light and Check Brakes light is on. We're assuming that a wire got tugged on or a sensor unplugged... Anyone know what we should check 1st?

You answered your own question. Recheck your work. You'll probably have to take it to the dealer or independant shop to have the fault cleared. If you don't see anything, they can scan it and fix it or let you know what the fault is and where to look.

Well we just rechecked everything and it all looks good. Next step would be testing wheel speed sensors, correct?

Sure. make sure you have a signal from each one. You'll have to check the service manual to see if they are inductive or Hall effect sensors and test accordingly. If you have the proper signal, check to make sure the wheel speed output is close for all 4 wheels. You don't want to spin the wheels and see 3 are showing, for example, 8 mph and one is showing 3. Bear in mind that a scanner will most likely be needed to clear the faults once corrected and many times faults can be posted in more than one control unit.

The speed sensors on the 10 is a short wire. I can see how easily that would be to do. Were these insight coil overs or fit model?
