Default Cvt

Hi, I am new overhere!!

Unfortunately i change my 2008 Civic Si last december to a 2010 Honda Insight lx (what a change) because I make a lot km and the price of gaz going up and up and up 1,46$ a litter or 5,63$ a gallon) last week!!

My problem!! The CVT transmission!! When it's cold in the morning, i start the car. wait 30 sec before i take the road!! When i take the road, i go slowly and between 1500 et 2000 rpm, my CVT go up and down for a few milles!! And still today with warmer temperature the Cvt still doing the same thing but less than the temperature was much colder

So, Does some peoples have the same problem or i am the only one

Thank's and let me know!!!

Sorry for my bad english

The cvt does a lot of funny things. Yes, it does pulse at lower speeds, increasing the throttle pressure helps that. It also runs at a higher rpms til it starts to warm up, then the rpms drop 500 or so.

Welcome aboard.
