Default uh oh. dropped a screw into the engine bay...

was fiddling around yesterday (attempting to upgrade my horns to Hella Supertones)... when I accidentally lost hold of, and dropped the little rubber screws into the engine bay.

given our undercarriage is completely sealed, there's no easy way i can think of to get it out (or is there)?

anyone has any idea? (ideally, before i drive myself crazy with little tinkling rolling sounds every time i corner...)

Jack the car and remove the oil change panel and look around?

Or just let it ride. It won't hurt anything.

well at-least it didnt fall into the engine. On my last car, a nut accidentally dropped into the intake. I found it a couple of days later sitting behind the intake valve once I took the intake off. Luckily it didnt do much damage.

That's funny, I did the SAME exact thing when I was upgrading my horn...

Have a friend with small hands help you...if you look under the grill, there's a small set of openings underneath (see attachment). Have them stick their hand through there, and tap the undercarriage from below so that the screw bounces up and down and they know where it is.

I dropped a plastic clip one day in mines. I just started to spank the cover and heard it jumping around inside. It finally came out the other side under the car.
