skirtfasteners.jpg (6786 bytes)If you haven't discovered this already, you'll soon find out that the two quick-release fasteners that hold on each of the rear wheel skirts are made of uncoated steel. In our case, they were beginning to rust when the car arrived. Solution? I temporarily removed these little "bolts" and lightly spray painted them with black Tremclad spray paint. They now blend in perfectly with the surrounding black pieces, and no more rust color!

Also, a few owners have lost one of the wheel cover fasteners, perhaps because they were not properly put on in the first place. For this reason, you may want to purchase a couple extra fasteners from your Honda dealer's parts counter.
