Repair dash paint - fixed

I bought online a second hand Honda insight and everything works fine.

The dashboard paint was off near navigation (ugly) and after calling different detailing companies and had no success for an easy solution (the wanted to remove the whole dash) I made some research and found an easy way.

Using leather paint (white + black + blue) mixed - trial and error.

With a small sponge I distributed the paint on the affected area.

The paint comes off easy, if you did not matched the dash colour.
When you are done the activator makes the paint permanently.

I am not sure how long will last but it is an improvement.

That looks really great.

On my 2010 a previous owner had gouged the dash all around that black trim piece with a screw driver, I think they were trying to remove the radio. The marks weren't as bad as yours, but when I recently replaced the radio myself I used a black Sharpie marker to touch up the areas where the paint had been scraped away, and I was surprised at how good it looked. I think the dash material might just be really forgiving when it comes to covering over areas where the paint was worn away.
