Welcome to Insight Central (IC). As a new or prospective owner, you will quickly recognize that the Insight in its various models is a unique and very interesting car. There arises the question of maintaining your new purchase. These cars are fairly old, the newest being 14 years old at this time. Also most are selling at fairly depressed prices. This likely means that a new owner will want to stay clear of expensive dealer maintenance. Huge amounts of material are available on IC to help a diy owner do their own repairs. You will want to retrieve and understand the trouble codes and their subcodes stored in the car computers. Member ab???? has created a chart which will allow you to discern the reason for your warning lights:
This robust spreadsheet contains links to a wealth of information other than just the diagnostic trouble codes, so spend some time exploring this excellent resource.
