Yeah, I have a little bit of bumper wrinkle right above my spoiler but it's not noticeable past about 18 inches. 9 out of 10, would do again. The main thing I would change is getting a more powerful heat gun so I wasn't so close, There's a bunch of little marks where I accidentally touched the soft plastic while it was still too hot.

I did the same thing when I was testing to see how hot the plastic got, but just going over the plastic again got rid of it. My bumper actually went back to a very nice black after using some 303 protectant, that stuff and automatic transmission fluid works wonders if you dont want to spend a bunch of money on expensive detailers or you dont have a heat gun.

Sweet Project Cars does the same thiing by applying ATF. Check him out on YouTube. He is direct, simple and gets the job done.

He does it before your eyes. A real how-to.

@Jrobling,
Are you coming to InsightFest 2019 in Columbus this fall?
https://www.insightcentral.net/forum...t-6-7-8-a.html

It would be great if you could do a presentation relating to one of your videos in person!
And of course promote your Youtube Channel

Just some general maintenance with a spark plug change.

Just a comment on your video. DO NOT use any other plug in an INSIGHT other than an Iridium (sp) type. Most car mfg. are now going to that type plug. Make sure the plugs are TIGHT, not just snug.

Iridium, and torque the plugs to the manufacturer's settings.

I torqued to manufacturer settings and they came loose. Is it a greased torque value? Like I should have had anti seize on them? I ended up torquing them down so they weren't going anywhere after that since it almost stranded me.

Costco does my tires and they torque to the manufacturer's specified settings. In all my years of buying tires at Costco (30+) I have never had a problem. Maybe they do grease the threads prior to torquing the lugs down but I do not know.
