Default Pricing on a high mileage 2010 EX?

Looking at a red EX no navi with over 200,000 miles. Assuming it runs fine, would I be able to get much over $2,000 for it? This would be my first G2. What are the chances the transmission and battery are still ok?

Check the documentation. If transmission fluid changes have been done and have been documented ... it should be ok. If not .... I would not. IMA battery is more sensitive to long periods of being idle than higher mileage. Check the ECU for the last time error codes have been erased. Yes,it stores that. If ECU errors have been erased a short while ago - don't....

Can the battery be disconnected and the car still be driven like the G1 cars?

You might get issues with emissions.
And the CVT doesn't like the petrol engine alone. It's programming is relying on the IMA powers.

No, there is no alternator to charge the 12 volt battery.
Around here we have not had any reports of IMA failure that did not result from an accident. That said, checking for stored and erased codes is good advise.
