Default Is this normal mpg drop?

I know our FE suffers in winter but since temps have dropped into single digits and lower F degrees MPGs have gone from 40's+ to 30 and less.
Lots of short <5 mile runs. Mostly local.

yes, its completely normal ... not only does cabin heat suck up alot of mpg's but the ima battery pack efficiency gets murdered in the cold

Unfortunately, yes.
I can see a drop in mpg beginning at around 5 centigrade.

Default MPG Drop

Mine begins to suffer around <50F (10C). I remedy this by installing a temporary lower grille block [read: blue painters' tape] to help keep intake and engine temps up. Keeps me around 58-60mpg US.
