Default Smashed screen radio + Reverse camera cost issues

Hello, new member here.

Got this insight 2 days ago , i traveled far to view this car and there was nothing wrong with it but This, smashed screen radio. and it was a bargain too so i bought this car but now i need to fix this radio. Touch screen LCD of radio is smashed by a child or so, there is nothing that can be used, no Bluetooth, nothing else as screen does not move. my question is

I am looking to replace radio, install reverse camera + sensors. people are quoting me 250 labour cost. (including equipment its going over 500)

I am looking for economical solutions here.

1- can i get replacement screen for this radio. maybe someone can replace lcd glass?

2- Economical reversing solutions please as i am weak in this particular subject of driving.
Maybe reverse camera + parking sensors fitted in less the 100????

Any help will be appreciated.

Is it the OEM screen????

I take it that you are somewhere in GB. Could you please edit your profile to display a rough location. It is traditional and it helps everyone involved, including yourself

To attach a picture you need to look down-page on the composition screen at the "manage attachments" area. That will allow you to load your picture. You should have the picture somewhere convenient on your computer, like the desktop so that you can click "browse" and navigate easily to the pix. Besure to click the "upload" when you have navigated to the pix.

I'm going to delete your other post. Dual post cause a lot of confusion since folks start responding to both. You can create a new post once you figure out the picture inclusion, but please delete any remaining threads.

Thank you for correcting the location. Welcome to ya mate

You will find the site friendly and folks eager to help. You will probably get several responses in a matter of days. I don't own Gen2 so I'm a rather poor source, but if you don't see some radio vendor's logo on the unit then I suspect it is OEM. If that is true then you best inexpensive bet will probably be to find one from a breaker yard. Our GB gure retepsnikrep will probably be along in a while and will be lots more familiar with the situation in GB.

Just give folks a little time to respond.

Again, welcome.

Lol they just gave you the "go away and don't bother us" price.

I second the junkyard. It's be a $60 part in the US, so maybe 75 there?
