Default SSD sat nav update

Has anyone ever updated their Insight factory Navigation software... Specifically for UK owners as well.. is this something that can only be used once (i.e. does the unit wipe the card after use?)... possible group buy...

110 gets a Garmin with lifetime updates. Honda want 150 for just an update!

I manage just fine with the out of date maps. There is always google maps if I find an issue.

If 10 people use the same update its a tenth of that... i believe they simply supply you with an SD card... question is can it be installed on multiple machines, and is there any anecdotal evidence around?

150 for a map update is ludicrous.

I'd be up for splitting the costs if that's possible. Much rather have the in-built kept current.
