EX models have the usb input in the center console. I think all models have a AUX input (mini stereo plug) in the dash next to the power outlet.
I doubt the usb can be added to the base or LX head unit. It would not be cost effective anyway. If you do decide to replace the audio, do use a wiring harness adapter (Metra is one maker) to make the process easy and reversible. They make them for the speaker connections as well.
Sounds fair, it is the base model in the picture, and the reason that the aux port isn't exactly on my side, when I bought the car recently the aux port has super glue inside with a end of a headphone plug in there. Would it be more cost efficient to open the radio and replace the audio jack?
