Did the brake switch mod like normal but is there a way to do it without the brake lights coming on? Maybe tying into the brake switch input at the ecm and a diode between the brake switch and the tied in "full regen switch" to keep from turning on the brake lights.

You really want the brake lights coming on if you don't want to get rear ended.

Understandable. But with using the button im using it sooner from higher speeds and its most likely anoying to other drivers behind me like im just riding the brakes. And at the speeds like an offramp the regen isnt really effective untill 3000rpm in third gear and slower speeds and my foot is on the brake pedal by then. Ill do a dual throw momentary rocker and one way is with brake lights the other is without.
