Default The Hot Hatchening.

So it's official.

My boredom with going slow and eeking out MPG numbers has cause me to slip back into the old ways. The Hot Hatch ways.

This will be my journal to document the backsliding of a responsible adult down to a backwards hat wearing youth trying to steal the plastic food trays from the burger joint.

Wary those who enter here, for discussions of efficiency and miles per gallon will not be tolerated! Only hooliganry lies ahead! You have been warned!

The first step towards full on hot hatch status is to get some grip! Out with the old bouncy balls and in with the new rollers, stickier than a kid eating a honey and marshmellow sammich!

Mmmmmm. Mini Cooper 16 inch rims with Federal SS595 in 205/40/16. The grip is insane. Like go cart with velcro tires insane.

MEAT!

And the best part? The rollout of these rims/tires is exactly the same as stock! No speedo error. No gearing changes. Exactly the same. And they are SO. MUCH. QUIETER. Like for real. Half the noise at least.

I hope you’re going to let us know how much mileage is lost with each step you take towards perdition! That would be one of the best parts!!!
