Default Wind noise fix?

I have traced wind noise (whistling) above 50 MPH to air passing between the top of the drivers door window and the (gasket?) in the door frame. I remembered observing that the glass is not original. It may be a different shape than original and not making solid contact in the center.

I am wondering if anyone has experience with this. I am wondering if a new gasket will be flexible enough to fit the glass and if I should acquire a Honda drivers window from a wreck first.

Sounds like OP's saying the leak is between the window and the door, not the door and the door jamb - is that right, sean? If so, I've replaced that gasket before, it's not too difficult as I recall. I don't know anything about OEM vs. non-OEM windows, so can't help with that aspect... If the leak is between the door and the jamb, then the 3M d-shaped weather stripping could help, and/or a new door jamb gasket...

The noise appears to be coming from the channel, the rubber strip that the glass fits into. I have added weatherstripping to the door which appears to help with general road noise somewhat but makes the whistling more obvious.

Unlike the passenger door, the gap between the glass and channel varies a little, if the window is open a crack.

I thought at first this might be due to it being non-Honda glass. On second thought, perhaps the channel's frame is bent. There is damage on the rubber gasket which may be from someone using a wedge to get into the locked door. I may have done this myself when straightening out door damage.

Looks like I'll probably try to rejuvenate the channel rubber, then maybe acquire a replacement Honda window to see if the frame needs to be straightened. Probably should not wait too long to do this, since supplies are limited.

FIXED

There was a gap along the bottom of the window between the glass and the outside door.

This existed because of old accident damage to the door causing the top edge of the door to move away from the glass.

It took a bit of pushing and pulling with palms and wrists to correct this small error. No more wind noise!

And my door is quieter because I put additional rubber weatherstripping around the door frame while sorting this out.
