Default 2010 cd player error

Today, the CD player in my 2010 Insight (without navigation) decided to: a) not play any cd's it provides the following error for all discs:

<BAD DISK> <BUSY PLEASE WAIT> <CHECK USER MANUAL> <PRESS EJECT BUTTON>

The manual says its a mechanical issue when this error comes up.
Any solutions?

Maybe optical lens need to clean.
Are you use CD-cleaner-disk?
Don't know it's name, CD with brushes.

If when you insert the disc there is no sound of the acceleration of the motor, then the motor died.
It can be replaced by another motor such as from computer CD-ROM. I fix DVD-player with similar problem.

Is there a CD in there? Perhaps a homemade one with a sticky label?
That was the issue I found on a different Honda. Best to use a sharpie to label disks.
Also, a common problem on another Honda forum is that little kids will put coins into the CD slot.
Either way, you are going to need to remove the unit and take it apart to clean out the issue. I think if you look down in the Modification section there is probably instructions for removing the unit. Don't forget to find the radio code first.

If it is just broken, eBay is a good place to find replacements.

Thanks for the thoughts. There is no disk in there. Every disk I try it doesn't engage into the play mode just trys and ejects the disk quickly. I dont think its spinning the disk just ejecting, thus no luck with the cd lens cleaning disk.

Anyone have a link to instructions on replacing? How hard is it?

If you are not able to fix take it to service.
If you can DIY, then disassembled the case and connecting 12V you will understand the cause of the fault.
Write on the forum, will help possible.
