Default Cel p0353

I recently bought a 2019 Honda Insight, everything was going well until my third day driving it. I have less than 100 miles and I got a CEL P0353. I will be taking it to the dealer, more info pending.

Good luck. From the code, it sounds like a bad plug or coil pack, or maybe only a loose wire on cylinder #3. Hopefully it's a quick fix.

So I got a call back from the dealer, it turns out to be rodent damage that is not covered under warranty. Price to fix $1300.

Need a pic of the damage, or better explanation.
I think you got ripped off.

I have towed my car to the dealer I bought it from since my local dealer was charging an insane price. I will keep you guys updated. Manager has told me they will inspect it again and cover the damages. Even if it’s not under warranty. Fingers crossed.

I agree with Willie, I would be wanting to see the physical evidence of said damage..

Here is the final update, the dealer I bought the car from quoted me $2,700 to replace the whole engine wiring harness. Which is double what my local dealer quoted me with. Luckily I spoke with the Brand Advocacy Manager and they are fixing everything. I will have my car back by Tuesday. I will try to get pictures of the damaged wires.

What the hell chewed on your wiring harness!? Please post photos if you can. You're going to need to find out what did it so you can stop it from happening again. Just... wow...
