Had a talk with the parts manager at my Honda dealer. I just bought CVT fluid for a change. He said the only sold 9 quarts in a 18 months. I bought 6 of those. The service dept used the other 3 qts. I suspect most of the time the service dept does not actually change the fluid.

Your repairs are all critical. Change the transmission oil. Get the CVT Honda fluid (and perhaps filters). Might as well do the engine oil and filter at the same time. Get the 12V battery tested for free. Tires and alignment go together or you will ruin new tires. Brakes are just as...

Coolant and Hoses: Many roadside breakdowns are due to burst hoses and overheating. I've seen the telltale white cloud many times. Replace the hoses and the coolant at the same time - makes sense. Honda coolant says 5 years or 60,000 miles. While you are at it, I would replace the belt and...

  17. Springs and Sways

    Modifications and Technical Discussions
I went with the Tanabe springs which lowers the center of gravity and thus reduce body roll / flex. I needed 4 cam bolts in the front to set the alignment. The car handles well without the additional weight and cost of braces or bars. When the time came, I also added wider lower tires 195/55R15.

You can remove the caliper bolts to inspect the pads. I agree to replace pads and rotors at the same time. You can also grease the pins and pads to they slide at the contact points. Always use brake grease because of the high temps.
