The original hyper-miler, good for 35-50mpg. American-made in Marion, IN, Crosleys claimed a number of firsts: popularly-priced OHC engine (1946), all-steel station wagon (1948), factory disc brakes (1949), and post-war sports car (1949).
This particular car was parked in 1951 with 26k miles. It retains the rare original copper-brazed (CoBra) steel block, good for 26.5hp. The wagon weighed about 1400lbs. Mine is mid-restoration.
