I would not send money to someone who joined over six months earlier and then made their first post nine months later. Joining a forum and then sitting on the username is one way for a scammer to evade "new user" checks.
We've been hit by scammers quite a bit here, so please prove you're real. Sorry if you are, but that's the state of things today.
