*SOLD*1-owner Citrus. Blown engine. 210K miles. $1200 K-swap candidate

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Citrus
1-owner
Model year 2000
5-speed
A/C
Assume IMA battery needs attention. (Is OEM, but not original pack.)
$1,200
Entered into the official Citrus Insight Owners Registry
Interior ok. Driver Seat bolster is getting fuzzy but not worn through.

One of my customers drove her engine at highway speed with a blown head gasket, so engine is toast.

When I went to see it I expected it to be a junker because of the high miles. Turns out is actually nice looking. I've definitely seen worse. In any case I've decided it is better to sell it than part it out.

Not driveable because of engine condition.

I could run it just long enough to drive it up on the tow dolly.

Previous owner said no transmission issues.

Assume IMA needs attention. I probably have some extra sticks I can throw in the deal if you're not doing a k-swap.

Not much room to negotiate as I already lowered the price.
Cash and quick sale can make a difference.

I have it at my house just north of Madison, WI.
Come see it and let's talk.

10/27/18 EDIT: Dropped price to $1,200.

That's a $4-5K car if redone all the way. I thought you were in the business, why don't you fix what needs fixing? I don't see it as a 4 figure car the way it sits.

I'm in the repair business not the car selling business.
I know to some they seem like one in the same, but they really are distinct.

I'm plenty busy fixing other people's broken cars.

So when I end up with additional cars like this, it can quickly become a case of too many cars, not enough time. (Unless of course, someone is paying me to fix it.)

I’ve got a parts car with a fantastic engine, and even a good transmission. Rest of car isn’t so great. My original intent for that parts car is to keep mine on the road for a long time, but if I can put together a better car out of the deal (and citrus!) it could certainly be worthwhile.

I’m certainly interested, but logistics to Madison are pretty difficult for me right now. If it’s still around in a few weeks, I might be able to check it out.

So do you have an engine laying around for sale to go with it?

Car is SOLD.

Very sorry to see this one go. Was so good looking.
It is going to be K-swapped.
So buyer may have some extra parts for sale over time.

Hopefully he jumps on here and shares his build with us.
