FUEL EFFICIENT! 2001 Honda Insight Hybrid

FUEL EFFICIENT! 2001 Honda Insight Hybrid

2001 Honda Insight - the hybrid before the Prius!

- ~129,000 miles
- 2nd owner, handed down from my grandparents who bought it new
- 5 speed manual
- 4 new all season tires less than 500 miles on them - drives SURPRISINGLY well in the winter!
- VERY fuel efficient, but electric motor assist needs work; just a cable I believe... Even so the car is still getting 40+ mp$2600 g
- known to run over 250,000 miles!!!
- will need new rear shock and probably front end struts for a new sticker next month
- some interior rust and mild odor due to storage, just needs to be aired out
- very minor left rear fender damage, just some scrapes
- needs some TLC but this is the perfect car for a commuter or someone traveling mostly highway miles and wants to save a buck!!!
- TITLE IN HAND

A must see, come check it out and make me an offer!

KBB's for $2,746 in good condition, asking:
$2,600 OBRO

Maybe for 2,000, anything more seems unrealistic. My insight is in good condition except the overheating problem and I got mine for 2k. If I had discovered the overheating problem before I bought it, I probably would have gotten the car for 1200-1500.

$2000 would be my buy price also. Balto, doesn't your car have over 300k mi or did you buy a different one? This car has 129k mi which is almost a low miler which adds a ton of value.
