2002 Honda Insight

Good thing to read here:

I'm in negotiation to save this one. It's a far drive away from me (10 hours round trip) and the owner, who is an elderly gentleman, won't budge on the price and isn't able to send me pictures. Sounds like the car is in decent shape but needs IMA and 12V, typical. With the mileage and unknowns, along with the far drive, just not sure I can swing it.

@jeffffej, where is the car located? Maybe someone else here who is closer can get you pics and/or help with storage for a convenient time for you to pick it up?

Thanks, it's in Jefferson NC not far from the G1 tractor beam of a few other members...main thing is before I make the drive and rent the dolly I'd like to know a few things about the car. I've driven long distances for cars too many times to discover it's far different than was described. It's sitting at a shop now non-running due to dead 12V and IMA.

I was prepared to make the drive (10 hrs round trip) and rescue this one via dolly as it's not running...I know tricks but it's too far to risk it as I know nothing about this car and can't get pictures...I offered seller $800 which he declined. So I'm not getting this one.
