I recently tried to purchase touch up paint for my 2002 Insight CVT and found that even though the color charts for 2002 list Sebring Silver for this model year, the color turned out to be Silverstone Metalic. I suspect that Honda may have been using up their supply of Silverstone Metalic that was offered on earlier Insights, but am not sure. I had to provide the paint code from my door sill to verify what color it really is. Has anyone else run into this issue?

Nope. The official name for 2002 was indeed Sebring Silver in all the brochures, but every 2002 I have seen is actually Silverstone (check door jamb for color code).

The 2002 and 2003 Insight brocheures I have both show silvertone mtallic in the color options. I briefly had a 2000 Insight and it's color was silvertone when I went to get touchup paint for it. I've seen a sebring silver Insight before. I guess that leads to when did they use Sebring? 2001?

My 2002 is also Silverstone (NH-630M). Now I just need a paint shaker (like in the hardware stores) to shake up the bottle of touch up paint I got, it has a 1/4 inch of metalic sitting at the bottom.
