I'm posting this just in case you experience a similar problem and/or this is an undocumented manufacturing defect - my 2003 CVT had the check engine light come on, and Honda determined the problem is a bad oxygen sensor. I've never had an oxygen sensor go bad on any other car I've owned prior to the 100k mile mark, so I think this is unusual.

Here we go again. WHAT WAS THE TROUBLE CODE as read by the tech. department at the Honda Dealership.

A must know for all Insighters.

I had the same issue on my 2000 about two years ago. I went to the dealer and they said it was a bad O2 sensor, and it would be 300 something to replace. I decided that I would wait a week to get it fixed, so they reset the cel, and I have not had this problem since. Maybe it's bad gas?
