I am trying to purchase Honda floor mats for my 2004 CVT. My dealer has ordered them twice, and gotten the wrong ones each time. I got them thrown in "free" as part of the car purchase, but not having any luck. Tow things to know:

(1) 2004 mats diifer from 2003 and previous mats due to interior color change
(2) Passenger side varies depending on transmission type (Manual/CVT)

I went to Honda accessories.com, and the part numbers they show when 2004 mats are placed in basket are wrong. I had my dealer order those, and they were the 2003,02,01 grey color.

I am very confused....can anybody help?

Hi DonWatson3558:

___Might I suggest that you give Tim Poliniak or his counterparts from Ray Laks Acura (Hondacuraworld) a call tomorrow? Although their site lists only 1 pair (the silver/gray pre 04’s for either the CVT or the 5-speed) for $58.00 + $3.95 S&H, he can get the right ones (04 beige - CVT) if they are in fact available. I have purchased many items for the MDX from him as well as the little beauty’s rear Cargo Mat and Block heater. If Tim is not in (I think he was stuck with jury duty next week), his counterpart is darn good as well. Just make sure you explain the situation in regards to the 04’s being beige for a CVT, not silver/grey and they will look into it as well as get back to you. As you can tell, the Insight block heater wasn’t listed either but after a 2 minute conversation, he found the right one and it was in my hands in less then a week.

___Tim and the site linked above are almost legendary in the Acuramdx.org forums. In my own dealings, I have never had such pleasant and cost effective automobile parts purchase experience as I have with him. That is after over $1,500 worth of parts purchases over the past 2 years.

___Good Luck

The hook didn't come with yours? When I got my floor mat the box with the drivers side mat had a little kit with instructions, the hook, plastic groomet, and screw for the mat.
