I commute about 110 miles every day. Recently, my gas mileage was taking a 2-3 point (43-40) hit. I assumed this had to do with new tires. On my last tank, I was getting around 35. Could this be a symptom of the IMA starting to go? It is still under CPO bumper-to-bumper warranty for 14000 more miles. No additional lights are on alerting me to an issue.

Thanks for the help.

it prolly is the new tires combined with the lower temps ... make sure the tire pressure is at least 38 lbs - mechanics and tire guys will no doubt have put in the manuf. spec 32 lb or so of air which yields less mpg ... check the engine air filter too

Keep an eye on your battery meter. If you're having recalibrations frequently, it can kill mileage like that. Frequent forced regens can destroy your mileage like that. Saw it on both my 06 HCH2 when their batteries were crapping out.
