Ohh wow, I looked at the auction, it's got the oem tires! Anyways, there's an even worse one now that holds the new record for sure.

I could be wrong, but it appears the lmpg is 31.2 in this picture!

Rather than just drive hard, I believe you would actually have to TRY to get mileage that bad. Or something is seriously wrong here. Even if the IMA is non-functional, it would do much better than that. :?:

I have a 2000 5-speed manual. Do you mind if I ask what tire preassure do you have? I inflated mine to 40 all around and the dealer told me I was lucky they didnt blow. I've got them at 38 front and 35 back. Do I need to worry about blowing out a tire?

Would the air preassure affect mpg that much? What about fuel injection cleaner, etc?

I keep mine at 50 psi, all around. I spit in the face of death... :twisted:

Seriously, the tire can take much more than that, assuming you have the correct OEM tire. I really wouldn't assume the dealer service folks are tire experts. But neither am I....

There will be a significant mpg between 38 and 50 psi.
