Hello. I am selling 5 Honda Civic VX 13" wheels with tires. The wheels are in good shape. They all have the Honda logo caps. There are 4 tires with 80% tread life left. I have the receipt for them. The 5th wheel has an older tire on it and was used as a spare.

The tires are doral sdl 175/70r13, right? Do you know how much these tires weigh? Any idea what shipping to 77539 would be? I've always wanted a set of VX rims, but I don't think I can afford to pay you what they're worth right now. I might make and offer later if someone else doesn't buy them first.

Yep. Doral sdl 175/70r13. i just weighed a wheel + tire and it was 25lbs exactly. The wheels themselves are around 9.5 lbs or so so the tires are about 15.5lbs each. Shipping would be between $220 and $240. For just the wheels shipping would be $50-$70 or so. With that in mind, would you like to make an offer?

I was thinking something like $200 plus shipping, but we'd have to find cheaper shipping options and really, I shouldn't be spending any money right now. I'm mainly responding to bump your post so someone else, maybe closer to you and willing to spend more, might buy them.

The tires aren't really worth much, but I'd hate for you to bother removing the them just to get the shipping weight down, seems counter-productive. A bit of an annoying option would be using the greyhound bus system. I checked on busfreighter.com and if we're both willing to go to our bus stations to drop off / pickup the wheels it's ~$90. There's also uship.com, evidently they're the ebay of independent freight companies. I don't know if they're good options or not. Anyone on the forum have any experience with going through uship or using the bus system?

Yeah, next month could be different for me $$-wise. January's always problematic.

My first Insight had 15" rims when I bought it, so I got the Kosei K1 TS 14" rims to replace them. That car is currently under repair. My Insight #2 came with 13" steel rims and random 175/70/r13 tires. I like the comfort and handling with that size and the more oddball size options on 13" rims are interesting. if I had the VX rims, I could get the weight down a bit.
