So I’ve had the problem where I stop at a stop sign then accelerate the rpm’s go up to about 1,200 then between there and 2,000 they shake up and down on the way up and you can also feel the car jolt and budge about 5 times. It usually happens when the engine is cold or when it sits for awhile at a light, but has happened when accelerating after running for awhile. I initially thought my hybrid battery had a problem but then I realized that probably wasn’t it because the assist needle wasn’t the thing fluttering. The MPG’s went from around 46 to 40, but I know this is sort of normal for winter. Does anyone have any idea what’s causing this issue or had similar problems? I’m now thinking it may be a problem with the assist motor not the battery or normal engine.
