Hi,

I have an '01 Insight with 120k on the odometer.

I plugged my inverter into the accessory receptacle & it ceased providing me juice for my laptop, is this just as I assume - a burnt out fuse?

If so, how do I find where the fuse is located? Has anyone here replaced it?

Thanks in advance.

I had the same thing happen a couple weeks ago in my Civic. In my case it turned out to be the inline fuse in the inverter itself. Of course I needlessly pulled/checked the under dash fuse first. :p

Thanks I Just Found That Lil Culprit of a Burnt Out Fuse

Thanks,

Don't know but if I just found that lil culprit of a burnt out fuse then just replaced him with a new one.

Tried a couple things in that socket though, I don't know if it's completely fixed yet. I'll try some other stuff in there. If the socket's fried too though, is there a good way to deal with it???

Thanks heaps for helping me find that dirty bugger of a burnt out fuse, though. It's been annoying me.

The interior fuse box's ... accessory circuit is fused in the number 12 position ...

The 10A limit on the 12V socket isn't enough for my needs either..

So I installed two more, wired directly to the battery, next to it. :D
