... where do you take your Insight to be serviced? I purchased my Insight in Monroe and while I could get it serviced there, I'd rather take it some place with prior experience with the Insight.

Thanks :)

I don't dare take it to anything other than a Honda dealer, unless it's very generic type of work like tires. The car I had previously, a CRX HF was almost destroyed by a clueless mechanic tuning it up. The engine nearly melted down, losing the coolant and freon. It seemed like the CRX suffered a 25% loss in performance and mpg. I had to drive it ten miles to get it to pass the emissions test. Moral of story is take the car to a reputable mechanic, not some chain.

Oh OK. Well the problem that I'm having is with the instrument panel. The LCD is "bleeding". Like the speedometer in the upper right corner looks like the liquid is leaking which lights up when i turn on the car.

I'll take a picture of it when my wife brings it home and post it on this thread.. it had a little bit of it on the "Asst" guage and the dealer said it would be covered under warranty, but it went away after a couple weeks.. this hasn't gone away and it's been about three weeks.

Also concerned about a recall notice that I received recently (ICM?).

I take mine to my dealer -- Victory Honda in Plymouth. They have late service hours Mon/Thurs and service is open on Saturday too. Quite handy, and in the middle of my commute (which has come in handy).
