Hey All - After almost 3 years (48K) of trouble free use of my Insight, yesterday after pulling into a parking lot, my passenger side window would not work, up or down. It was down about 6 " from the top, warm day. Drivers side is OK, as are the power door locks. I have checked the fuses - the fuse marked for power windows and power steering are both 40's. I swapped them just to make sure, same thing. Even though I'm not mechanically inclined, I figured maybe a plug had come loose, so I removed the door panel, all seemed to be secure. There is a piece of plastic that covers almost the entire innner door, sealed all around. Was afraid to remove it, might not be able to re-seal it. I could see the bottom of the window and tried to move it up, but no go. I've also grabbed the top of the window and tried both up and down, won't budge. If I could just get it back up to the top (or close to it) for security and weather reasons, I'd be happy. Will need to save the $'s for the repair.

I've read the post here http://www.insightcentral.net/forum/vie ... highlight= Relulators are mentioned, where is it? What do I look for?

Any ideas what else I could look for? or a way to move the window up? Had a friend tell me it's likley the motor, and with no more warranty I'll bet a repair will be $400 - 500 easy.

Thank's for the input guys. Bfivelover, I tried your suggestion, still won't budge. Look's like after I come back from a trip overseas in Nov I'll look at my finances and see what I can do.

Thank's again ......
