Have new gaskets on way from rock auto. Cleaned up piston. It was in bad shape. But came out nice with a sander belt and elbow grease. Gaskets look fine but cheap insurance both sides shipped for 11 bucks.

Am starting to think it mite be a line. I change out the caliper and it work for couple days.Just out of the blue it will drag the car down and I can feel the heat coming off the rotor. I pulled the caliper off last nite and again the piston pushed in fine with a screwdriver before I removed it.Check the pads again, cleaned the pad shims and didn't see any issues. Rim spun fine on hub and didn't feel any bind on the axle. Wait on new pads and pin bushing and I have new caliper seals going on next.

Volvo rubber lines can collapse internally. You can apply the brakes but the pads don’t retract.

Hi temp brake grease. One can buy both natural and synthetic. One of several choices: Permatex 24125 Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant
